First Poster Design Rough

I did not receive a critique back from my given partner, so, I critiqued myself. I felt like my piece lacked something and I could not figure out what it lacked. I soon realized that I needed a theme of some sort and I needed to add definitions to help the poster make sense. In one of my design sketches, I drew a mountain. So, I took the mountain a little further to create something that corresponded with the title of my magazine "cycle" which is a bicycle magazine. Most people bike in the mountains here in the west, so I decided to go with that theme for my Type Anatomy Poster. I had trouble with the placement of my definitions and the placement of my masthead. This piece isn't completely finished, but I think that I am on to something that could lead me in the right direction.
